Job Title: Senior Quality and Governance Officer

Join the Elizabeth School of London team as a Senior Quality and Governance Officer, playing a key role in ensuring the highest standards of quality and governance across our academic portfolio.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled professional to lead the development and implementation of our Quality and Standards Framework and Governance Framework. As a Senior Quality and Governance Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the Quality team and collaborating with partner universities
  • Developing and implementing the Quality and Standards Framework and Governance Framework
  • Ensuring compliance with the Office for Students (OfS) Regulatory Framework
  • Carrying out duties assigned by the Dean of Quality/Deputy Registrar
  • Developing expert knowledge of internal quality assurance and governance mechanisms
  • Providing advice to colleagues on quality and governance matters
Key Responsibilities

As a Senior Quality and Governance Officer, you will be responsible for:

  • Leading the development and implementation of the Quality and Standards Framework and Governance Framework
  • Ensuring compliance with the OfS Regulatory Framework
  • Developing and implementing quality assurance processes
  • Providing guidance and support to colleagues on quality and governance matters
  • Collaborating with partner universities and other stakeholders
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's degree from a recognised university or significant work experience relevant to the role
  • Advanced knowledge of ICT software, including Word, Excel, Adobe Pro, and PowerPoint
  • Experience in servicing meetings, including writing agendas, writing papers, minute writing, and following up on actions
  • Experience of one or more HE QA procedures, such as programme approval, annual programme review, and student surveys
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
