Job Title: Senior Governance Officer

Join NHS Arden & GEM CSU as a Senior Governance Officer and play a critical role in ensuring effective governance and decision-making within the NHS's Federated Data Platform programme.

About the Role

The Senior Governance Officer will be responsible for planning and managing meetings, creating briefing packs, maintaining action logs, and liaising with stakeholders to drive progress between governance meetings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Forward planning and preparation for all governance meetings, including creating briefing packs and chair briefings.
  • Manage action logs and follow up on action points between meetings to ensure progress.
  • Provide expert secretariat support, including minute-taking and distributing meeting outcomes.
  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective communication and governance processes.
  • Support the development of governance strategies and maintain the Terms of Reference for key groups.
Requirements
  • Significant experience in coordinating projects and managing governance processes.
  • Proven track record in a fast-paced environment, dealing with senior stakeholders and complex meetings.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Experience in minute-taking and maintaining accurate records of decisions and actions.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
