Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join our Community Therapies Service in Great Yarmouth. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with service users, families, and other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments and interventions to support service users in achieving their goals and improving their mental health and wellbeing.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with service users, families, and other healthcare professionals.
- Work closely with the wider Community Mental Health Team to provide advice and guidance on occupational therapy needs and interventions.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the service and promote best practice.
- Professional registration with the Health Care Professionals Council.
- Experience working clinically in a mental health setting, preferably in a community-based setting.
- Basic understanding of the Mental Health Act 1983 and any updates.
- Specialist knowledge and application of occupational therapy assessments and interventions relevant to this client group.
