Occupational Therapist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our Community Therapies Service in Great Yarmouth. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with individuals who are experiencing mental health problems, providing assessment, intervention, and support to help them achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans to address the occupational needs of individuals with mental health problems
- Provide occupational therapy interventions, including group work and individual sessions, to promote recovery and well-being
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers, to provide comprehensive care
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users, their families, and carers
- Contribute to the development and implementation of service policies and procedures
- Professional registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
- Postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Experience of working with individuals with mental health problems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
