Subsea Engineering Manager Job Description

Wood is seeking an experienced Subsea Engineering Manager to join our team in Staines. As a key member of our Technical Consulting Division, you will oversee and manage subsea and pipeline projects, leading a team of engineers and collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project execution.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of subsea and pipeline engineers in the execution of projects from conception to completion.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project quality and consistency.
  • Develop and implement engineering solutions to meet client needs.
  • Manage project budgets and timelines to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and regulations, ensuring compliance and best practices.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical, Civil, or Subsea Engineering).
  • Extensive experience in subsea and/or pipeline engineering with a proven track record of engineering management.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of subsea technologies, industry standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with relevant software tools and project management methodologies.
