Job Summary

Wood is seeking a highly experienced Subsea Engineering Manager to lead our offshore and subsea projects within our Technical Consulting Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of subsea and pipeline projects, including leading a team of subsea and pipeline engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful execution of our projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of subsea and pipeline engineers to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and technicians, to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including training and development of team members.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical, Civil, or Subsea Engineering).
  • Extensive experience in subsea and/or pipeline engineering with a proven track record of engineering management.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of subsea technologies, industry standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with relevant software tools and project management methodologies.
