Key Responsibilities

As a Project Manager, you will be instrumental in directing and managing subsea engineering projects from conception through to completion. Your responsibilities will include ensuring timely delivery, adherence to project scope, and budget management while upholding the highest safety and quality standards. This role demands a robust background in subsea engineering, project management, and effective leadership capabilities.

Client Engagement and Project Scope

Our Technical Consulting Division collaborates with a diverse range of clients, including major and independent operators in the oil & gas sector and clean energy projects such as carbon capture and wind energy. Typical Duties

Project Planning:

  • Formulate detailed project plans encompassing scope, timelines, budgets, and resource needs.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to establish project objectives and deliverables.

Financial Management:

  • Oversee project budgets and financial resources efficiently.
  • Track and manage project expenditures, ensuring compliance with budgetary limits.

Risk Assessment:

  • Identify potential risks and devise strategies for mitigation.
  • Implement risk management protocols to minimize project disruptions.

Resource Management:

  • Coordinate with resource managers to allocate project resources effectively.
  • Ensure project teams possess the necessary skills and tools to achieve objectives.

Quality Control:

  • Establish and supervise quality assurance and control measures.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Communication:

  • Foster clear and effective communication with project stakeholders.

Stakeholder Engagement:

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related discipline (Master's degree preferred)
  • Demonstrated experience in subsea project delivery and management

  • Thorough understanding of project management principles
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Willingness to travel to project sites as necessary
Certifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly regarded
  • Relevant certifications in subsea engineering and safety protocols
Desirable Attributes:
  • Chartered engineer status is preferred
