Position Summary

In the role of Senior Subsea Systems Engineer, you will take charge of the design, development, testing, and deployment of subsea hardware systems for offshore energy projects. Typical Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including Flowline, Riser, and control system engineers, to ensure the seamless integration of subsea systems into comprehensive project designs.
  • Provide subsea engineering support as necessary.
  • Ensure timely project completion in accordance with the established schedule.
  • Deliver sound technical guidance and solutions to a variety of engineering challenges.
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation, including design specifications and testing protocols.
  • Guide the development of subsea hardware specifications for production systems, including testing requirements.
  • Oversee the design and engineering processes for project solutions.
  • Assist in creating testing, operational, and maintenance procedures.
  • Participate in Factory Acceptance Tests for new equipment and coordinate contractor activities related to subsea equipment design and testing.
  • Engage in Safety Reviews, Environmental Impact Assessments, and Risk Assessments.
  • Manage vendor relationships as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and conduct necessary safety evaluations.
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure timely production and distribution of project information.

Essential Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Significant experience in Subsea Hardware Engineering, particularly with subsea trees, wellheads, and connectors.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with clients and internal teams.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Chartered engineer status is preferred.
