Wood is seeking a highly experienced Subsea Engineering Manager to lead our offshore and subsea projects within our Technical Consulting Division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of subsea and pipeline projects, including leading a team of subsea and pipeline engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful execution of our projects from conception to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of subsea and pipeline engineers to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and technicians, to ensure seamless project execution.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure successful project delivery.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, and develop contingency plans as needed.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams, including training and development of team members.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical, Civil, or Subsea Engineering).
- Extensive experience in subsea and/or pipeline engineering with a proven track record of engineering management.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
- In-depth knowledge of subsea technologies, industry standards, and regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with relevant software tools and project management methodologies.
