Subsea Engineering Manager Job Description

Wood is seeking an experienced Subsea Engineering Manager to lead our subsea and pipeline projects. As a key member of our Technical Consulting Division, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of subsea and pipeline engineering, including leading a team of subsea and pipeline engineers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful execution of our projects from conception to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage subsea and pipeline engineering teams to deliver high-quality projects on time and within budget.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and clients, to ensure successful project execution.
  • Develop and implement engineering strategies and solutions to meet client needs and drive business growth.
  • Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to project teams and clients.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering (preferably in Mechanical, Civil, or Subsea Engineering).
  • Extensive experience in subsea and/or pipeline engineering with a proven track record of engineering management.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of subsea technologies, industry standards, and regulations.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
  • Familiarity with relevant software tools and project management methodologies.
