Salary

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £120,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, reflecting the demands and rewards of this role. This figure includes 5 Professional Allowance (PA) points to support your professional development and 1 Specialised PA point to recognise your contributions to improving patient care and service delivery.

Job Description

We seek an experienced Consultant Lower Limb Arthroplasty Surgeon to join our multidisciplinary team, increasing capacity and enhancing the delivery of high-quality surgery to patients referred from General Practitioners, Triage services, and other Secondary or Tertiary care providers. The appointed individual will have completed orthopaedic training and hold a Fellowship in Lower Limb Arthroplasty surgery. They will be expected to work flexibly and contribute to the department's efficiency.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Completed orthopaedic training and a Fellowship in Lower Limb Arthroplasty surgery
  • Experience in complex hip and knee revision surgery
  • Familiarity with revision knee services and willingness to build a complex revision practice
  • Ability to work flexibly and as part of a multidisciplinary team
