About the Role

We are seeking a Senior User Researcher to join our team at SEGA European Head Office. As a key member of our UX research team, you will be responsible for evaluating gaming experiences and providing insights to inform product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate gaming experiences and provide actionable insights to inform product development
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and improve user experience
  • Conduct usability testing and gather feedback from users
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to plan and execute user research tests
  • Support internal development studios to build and maintain successful relationships with SOE Product Development

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a User Research role, ideally in the video game industry
  • Minimum BSc degree in HCI, Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology, UX Design, or relevant training/experience
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a UX Researcher
  • Extensive knowledge and skills in research design and qualitative/quantitative methods
  • Great relationship building, collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills
