Senior User Researcher

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior User Researcher to join our team at SEGA. As a Senior User Researcher, you will play a key role in evaluating gaming experiences and providing insights to inform product development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct usability testing to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for enhancing the user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute user research studies, including prototype testing, interviews, and focus groups.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders to ensure effective communication of research findings and recommendations.
  • Support the development of user-centered design principles and guidelines to inform product development.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in user research and apply this knowledge to inform our research approach.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in user research, preferably in the video game industry.
  • Minimum BSc degree in HCI, Human Factors, Ergonomics, Psychology, UX Design, or a related field.
  • Relevant training and/or certifications as a UX Researcher.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate research findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and stakeholder management.
