Contract type: Bank
We are seeking a skilled Clinical Travel Nurse to join our team on a bank contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking clinical duties relating to travel healthcare, immunisations, and sexual screening while maintaining high standards within the service and ensuring patient safety is upheld.
The estimated salary for this role is £35,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job Description:
The postholder will deliver an effective, evidence-based, and competent level of care to patients. They will be accountable for the assessment, planning, implementation, auditing, and evaluation of nursing practices, making recommendations based on findings and sharing outcomes with the team for learning.
Key responsibilities include supporting training and participating in clinical supervision and the performance and development of staff, mentoring clinical staff commensurate with own competencies. The postholder will also work within regulatory compliance standards such as CQC, NaTHNaC, PHE, or PHS as applicable.
Requirements:
- DBS Clearance.
- Mandatory & Statutory training.
- IT literate including Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
- Ability to travel independently to other surrounding areas.
- Evidence of ongoing professional development.
- Knowledge, awareness, and preferably some experience in the specialty of travel.
