About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical & Electrical Technician to join our team at First Bus. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle issues, ensuring our buses are safe and reliable for our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair vehicle faults, including engine, electrical, and mechanical issues
  • Perform routine vehicle servicing and maintenance, including oil changes and tire rotations
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and identify areas for improvement
  • Collaborate with colleagues to resolve complex technical issues
Requirements
  • Minimum level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent in Engineering
  • Full Cat B license and PCV license (or willingness to obtain)
  • Proven experience in vehicle repair and maintenance
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
