At First Bus, we're seeking a skilled Vehicle Systems Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle systems, ensuring our fleet is safe and reliable for our customers.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in mechanical and electrical engineering, with experience in diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults. You'll be proficient in using a range of diagnostic equipment, including hydraulic flow meters, air and vacuum gauges, and multi-meters.
As a Vehicle Systems Specialist, you'll work closely with our team to ensure that all vehicles are properly maintained and repaired, using the latest techniques and technologies. You'll also be responsible for attending on-road vehicle breakdowns and recoveries, and carrying out vehicle road testing to identify specific vehicle defects.
We offer a competitive hourly rate of £20.00, with a 39-hour working week. You'll also have access to a range of benefits, including free travel on our buses for you and your family, and a pension scheme.
