At First Bus, we're seeking a skilled Mechanical & Electrical Vehicle Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you'll be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex vehicle systems, ensuring our fleet is safe and reliable for our customers.

About the Role

  • Diagnose and repair vehicle faults, including electrical and mechanical systems.
  • Perform routine vehicle maintenance, including servicing and inspections.
  • Collaborate with our team to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest vehicle technologies and manufacturer recommendations.

Requirements

  • Minimum level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent in Engineering.
  • Full Cat B license and PCV license (or willingness to obtain).
  • Proven experience in vehicle maintenance and repair.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
