Mechanical & Electrical Vehicle Technician

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical & Electrical Vehicle Technician to join our team at First Bus. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our fleet.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and repair complex vehicle faults, including mechanical and electrical systems.
- Perform routine vehicle servicing and maintenance, including inspections and repairs.
- Attend on-road vehicle breakdowns and recoveries, using your expertise to resolve issues efficiently.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless vehicle maintenance and repair processes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest vehicle technologies and manufacturer recommendations.
- Minimum level 3 NVQ standard or equivalent in Engineering.
- Full Cat B license and willingness to obtain PCV license.
- Proven experience in mechanical and electrical vehicle repair and maintenance.
- Excellent diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Competitive hourly rate of £20.00.
- 39 hours per week, with a 4-on-4-off shift pattern.
