Job Summary:
MASHPOINT LLC is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. As an Accounts Payable Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial transactions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Invoice Processing: Review and process incoming invoices, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
- Payment Coordination: Coordinate with vendors and internal departments to ensure timely and accurate payments.
- Financial Reconciliation: Reconcile financial transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies.
- Compliance and Risk Management: Maintain compliance with state government accounting standards and procedures, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
- Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with internal departments and vendors to resolve discrepancies and ensure smooth financial operations.
Requirements:
- Experience: Prior experience in Accounts Payable within a state government setting is mandatory.
- Skills: Proficiency in using Adobe Sign and familiarity with Project Info or similar software, strong attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
