Job Title: HR Tech Sales and Service Account Consultant

At The Hartford, we're committed to making a difference in the lives of our customers and employees. As an HR Tech Sales and Service Account Consultant, you'll play a critical role in supporting our Technology Vendor Managers with tracking, auditing, and customer-related issues.

Responsibilities:
  • Communicate with clients and brokers on billing and eligibility-related issues, tracking down discrepancies and informing them of resolutions.
  • Validate accuracy of vendor invoices tied to our contractual commitments, auditing of invoices for accuracy, processing payments and expense tracking/forecasting.
  • Work cross-functionally to ensure the accuracy of our book of business reporting and ensuring groups are tracked accurately.
  • Validate client rates and plan design characteristics to ensure administrative accuracy.
  • Define, document, and maintain best practices on the contracting, management of our agreements, and team processes.
  • Financial reporting and budgeting support.
  • Process Improvements & Change Management – Support the technology team across GB functions to influence and help prioritize the needs of our external vendors.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2-5 years Group Benefits experience preferred.
  • Understanding of business vision and strategy.
  • Demonstrated record of translating business strategy into action.
  • Superior organizational skill and ability to effectively manage multiple and changing priorities.
  • Excellent at building effective relationships, working across cross-functional groups.
  • Proven history of influencing stakeholders and managing expectations.
  • Ability to interact with customers and brokers to drive outcomes.
  • Knowledge of sales cycle and process.
  • Demonstrated experience with customer analytics, insights, and reporting.
  • Licensing (Life and Health) may be required.
Work Arrangement:

This role can have a Hybrid or Remote work arrangement. Candidates who live near one of our office locations will have the expectation of working in an office three days a week (Tuesday through Thursday). Candidates who do not live near an office will have a remote work arrangement, with the expectation of coming into an office as business needs arise.

Compensation:

The listed annualized base pay range is primarily based on analysis of similar positions in the external market. Actual base pay could vary and may be above or below the listed range based on factors including but not limited to performance, proficiency, and demonstration of competencies required for the role. The base pay is just one component of The Hartford's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include short-term or annual bonuses, long-term incentives, and on-the-spot recognition. The annualized base pay range for this role is:

$63,200 - $94,800
