Revenue Recognition Automation Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Revenue Recognition Specialist to join our team at Scandit, a high-growth tech unicorn. As a key member of our revenue recognition function, you will play a critical role in building and enhancing processes aligned with business growth goals.
About the RoleThis is an ideal opportunity for someone who is comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, hands-on, and eager to develop a function from its current manual state to an automated one. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance revenue recognition practices aligned with business growth objectives.
- Advise on complex deals, collaborating with Deal Desk to optimize ACV and ARR.
- Oversee monthly revenue close in NetSuite, producing insights on revenue trends and metrics.
- Ensure alignment with IFRS 15 and ASC 606 standards, support audits, and manage SOX controls.
- Partner across teams, providing expertise on revenue policies and contract impacts.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting, compliance, and function scalability.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in revenue recognition, preferably with SaaS revenue models experience. You should be proficient in NetSuite or similar and Salesforce. A proven track record in managing revenue recognition, establishing best practices, and a strong understanding of IFRS 15 and ASC 606 are essential.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is strongly preferred.
- Min. 4 years of experience in revenue recognition.
- Strong technical skills, including proficiency in NetSuite or similar and Salesforce.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A desire to acquire fresh knowledge and enhance existing processes/policies.
- Process-oriented, organized, diligent, detail-oriented, well-structured.
