Accurate Payroll Processing Lead

£55,000 - £70,000 per year

About the Role:

This position plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accurate and timely payment of employee salaries and benefits. Your responsibilities will encompass overseeing all aspects of payroll processing and ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Processing: Manage end-to-end payroll processes, including data input, salary calculations, deductions, and tax withholdings.
  • Ensure Accuracy and Timeliness: Ensure all payroll transactions are processed accurately and on time.
  • Compliance: Stay updated on federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain precise records of employee compensation, deductions, and hours worked.
  • Benefits Administration: Handle employee benefits, including health insurance and retirement plans.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Certifications: Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP)
  • Experience: Several years of experience in payroll processing, with at least some experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Skills: Proficient in payroll software and MS Office applications.
