Job Description:

In this critical role, you will oversee payroll processing, ensure accuracy and timeliness, maintain compliance with laws and regulations, and administer employee benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Processing: Manage end-to-end payroll processes, including data input, salary calculations, deductions, and tax withholdings.
  • Compliance: Stay updated on federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain precise records of employee compensation, deductions, and hours worked.
  • Benefits Administration: Handle employee benefits, including health insurance and retirement plans.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Certifications: Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP)
  • Experience: Several years of experience in payroll processing, with at least some experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Skills: Strong attention to detail and proficiency in payroll software.
