Job Title: Payroll Manager UK Specialist

Salary Range: £50,000 - £65,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Processing: Oversee end-to-end payroll processes, including data input, salary calculations, deductions, and tax withholdings.
  • Ensure Accuracy and Timeliness: Guarantee all payroll transactions are processed accurately and on time.
  • Compliance: Stay updated on federal, state, and local payroll tax laws and regulations. Ensure payroll processes adhere to legal requirements.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain precise records of employee compensation, deductions, and hours worked.
  • Benefits Administration: Handle employee benefits, including health insurance and retirement plans.
  • Team Management: Lead and supervise a team of payroll specialists or administrators.
  • Problem Resolution: Address and resolve payroll-related issues and discrepancies.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Certifications: Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP)
  • Experience: Several years of experience in payroll processing, with at least some experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
  • Skills: Profound knowledge of payroll laws and compliance. Proficiency with payroll software and MS Office applications.
