We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Merchandising to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract. As a key member of our retail leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing merchandising strategies across all retail channels, driving profitability and growth in line with the company\u2019s objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement merchandising strategies to drive sales and profitability
  • Work closely with the retail, wholesale, and digital teams to ensure a cohesive approach to retail strategy
  • Embed a new WSSI system to improve inventory management and stock levels
  • Manage the merchandising team to achieve business objectives
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive approach to retail strategy
  • Analyse sales data to identify opportunities and risks
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders
Requirements
  • Proven experience in a similar role within the retail sector
  • Strong commercial acumen and strategic outlook
  • Strong trading background and ability to work at pace
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in using retail data analysis tools
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills
