Job Overview

Missy Empire is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Buying and Merchandise Assistant to support the Buying and Merchandising team in driving sales and profitability for the company.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning and execution of product range, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of merchandise to meet customer demands.
  • Monitor inventory levels, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
  • Manage supplier relationships, ensuring seamless communication and timely delivery of products.
  • Support the Buying and Merchandising team in administrative tasks, including data entry, reporting, and analysis.
  • Conduct regular competitor analysis to stay up-to-date with market trends and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Collaborate with the Merchandiser to prepare and analyze sales data, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies to increase sales.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other office software.
  • Passion for the fashion industry and staying up-to-date with industry trends.

Working Conditions

Office-based role, Monday to Friday, 9am - 5:30pm.
