Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Graduate and Intern Program Coordinator to join our Early Careers team. This is a 12-month maternity cover role, reporting to the Head of Early Careers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Recruit graduates and summer interns for our fee-earning departments in London and Winchester
  • Be the primary point of contact for multiple departments across our two offices to support with any Early Careers recruitment needs
  • Liaise with the Head of Early Careers to deliver the recruitment strategy
  • Manage the Assistant Early Careers Recruiter, helping them develop their skills and coordinate their workload
  • Maintain LCP's online materials and printed grad/intern publications, incorporating feedback from all departments and offices
  • Work with the Head of Early Careers, marketing team, and department heads on producing new materials
  • Maintain the applicant tracking system, ensuring it remains fit for purpose
  • Coordinate the application screening process across departments and offices, calling candidates ahead of assessment days and answering queries
  • Coordinate assessment days, drafting schedules, calling candidates, booking logistics, coordinating offers/declines with department leads, and managing expenses
  • Ensure graduate requirements for UK Visa and Immigration are met
  • Coordinate attendance at university careers fairs, arranging publicity materials, organizing attendees, briefing them on logistics, travel bookings, and delivering relevant materials
  • Coordinate attendance at ad-hoc events, including attendees and presentation materials
  • Liaise with Bright Network on promotional materials
  • Coordinate sponsorship arrangements with universities
  • Create content ideas for social media to publicize events and opportunities
  • Collate information on applications and offers for reporting purposes
  • Maintain a calendar of events and ensure tasks are completed within the team
  • Continually review changes in the graduate and intern market, exploring new opportunities
  • Involvement in wider firm initiatives relevant to early careers recruitment, such as diversity lead initiatives and Women's Talent Academy

Requirements

  • Recruitment experience is essential, with knowledge of early careers recruitment desirable
  • Highly organized, able to multitask in busy periods
  • Ability to work with the existing team to ensure successful management of applications, providing cover during busy periods
  • Ability to take tasks through to completion, seeking approval where needed
  • Confident in approaching others within the firm and externally
  • Proactive in proposing ideas and taking work forward
  • Creative and able to generate ideas for social media to attract talent
  • Competent in Microsoft products, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
