Key Responsibilities:
- Review stock and operational activities within the warehouses, making decisions based on area performance monitoring and evaluations against key performance indicators.
- High-level stock responsibility, investigating product specifications, correct product codes, and descriptions, conducting cycle counts, and auditing.
- Communicate with all levels of colleagues, the customer team, and management from National Highways, engineers, and project sponsors based at the maintenance depots.
- Ensure the IT warehouse system is maintained and ensure all data is accurate and up to date.
Requirements:
- Strong IT, organisational, and administration skills are essential, as the role involves a high degree of system interaction and stock accuracy.
- Experience of working with computer packages, including stock management systems, Oracle WMS experience is desired but not essential, training will be provided.
- Ability to work on own initiative.
- A full, clean driving license is required, holiday cover at different regional store depots across the UK will be required as part of the job.
