Inventory Management Specialist

Are you looking to take your inventory management expertise to the next level in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? As a Stores Operative at NS85 Ltd, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and timely production of parts while maintaining optimal stock levels.
About the Role:
As a Stores Operative, you will work closely with all areas of the business, including engineering, purchasing, accounts, and manufacturing across our sites in the UK and Europe. Your responsibilities will include receiving and processing Goods In, organising and controlling components and finished products in stores, and preparing and packaging goods for despatch.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive and process Goods In, ensuring accurate documentation and storage.
- Organise and control components and finished products in stores.
- Kit parts for production according to Bills of Materials (BOM).
- Prepare and package goods for despatch, managing Goods Out processing.
- Manage stock levels to support efficient production.
- Collaborate closely with purchasing to resolve parts issues or shortages.
Requirements:
We are looking for an experienced Stores Operative with a background in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Your skills and qualifications should include:
- 2+ years of experience in stores work within a similar environment.
- Proficient in using ERP/MRP systems.
- Skilled in Goods In and Goods Out processing.
- Experience in kitting and picking parts against a BOM.
- Proficient in MS Excel and competent in using the Office 365 suite.
