Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Forwards Operative to support our team in Northampton. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in supporting our patients, delivering orders to assigned hospitals, and performing site order counts and replenishment deliveries to Baxter accounts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete inventory checks within each ward at managed hospitals to ensure accurate stock levels.
  • Verify orders on arrival and report any discrepancies to the inventory supervisor.
  • Communicate PAR level amendments to the Managed Inventory Administrator as requested by customers.
  • Conduct expiry checks and log expired stock to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Report any damages to storage solutions in place in the hospital as part of our service.
  • Complete mileage forms for hire vehicles and report any issues.
  • Attend service reviews as required.
  • Confirm delivery arrival times to ensure smooth operations.
  • Participate in site audits as needed.
  • Reconfigure wards as required to meet customer needs.

Fundamental Requirements

  • Full clean driving license.
  • Proven experience in a warehouse or inventory environment.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and iPads.
  • Willingness to travel to various UK sites.
  • Passionate about customer-facing and customer service roles.
  • Over 18 years old, with minimal experience (training provided).
  • Manual handling skills.
  • Literate to GCSE level.
  • Able to work in a vulnerable adult and children environment after a background check (CRB).
