About the Role

The American Bar at The Savoy is seeking a skilled and charismatic Bar Server to join their team. As a Bar Server, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and creating a memorable experience for each and every guest who walks through the door.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create a sophisticated and memorable experience for each guest
  • Manage multiple tables at once, making recommendations and collaborating with the host, bar, and management team
  • Learn and follow 5-star standards, performing to measurable targets
  • Develop knowledge of cocktails, champagnes, wines, and food served
  • Attend trainings and learn from other team members on a daily basis

Requirements

  • 1-2 years serving or hosting experience in a luxury hospitality environment
  • Passion for and understanding of 5-star hospitality
  • Quick thinking, resourceful, and able to solve problems 'in the moment'
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous at all times
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Willing to work in rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written English
  • Rights to work in the UK
