About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Bar Server to join our team at The Savoy. As a Bar Server, you will be responsible for creating a sophisticated and memorable experience for each and every guest who walks through the door. You will be looking after several tables at once, talking with the guests, making recommendations if needed, as well as collaborating and clearly communicating with the host, bar, and management team to ensure a seamless five-star experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create a sophisticated and memorable experience for each and every guest
  • Look after several tables at once, talking with the guests and making recommendations
  • Collaborate and clearly communicate with the host, bar, and management team
  • Learn and follow our 5-star standards and perform to measurable targets
  • Deliver 5-star hospitality and be trained on service sequence and standards
  • Attend trainings and learn from other team members on a daily basis
Requirements
  • 1-2 years serving or hosting experience in a luxury hospitality environment
  • Passion for and understanding of 5-star hospitality and what it takes to deliver it
  • Quick thinking, resourceful, and able to solve problems 'in the moment'
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous at all times
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • Willing to work in rotating shifts including weekends and public holidays
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written English
  • Rights to work in the UK
