We are seeking a skilled Bar Server to join our team at The Savoy. As a Bar Server, you will be responsible for creating a sophisticated and memorable experience for each and every guest who walks through the door.

Key Responsibilities

  • To create a sophisticated and memorable experience for each and every guest who walks through the door.
  • To look after several tables at once, talking with the guests, making recommendations if needed, as well as collaborating and clearly communicating with the host bar and management team to ensure a seamless five-star experience for our guests.
  • To learn and follow our 5-star standards, which will be a requirement and key to your success.
  • To be trained on service sequence and standards, as well as being expected within a reasonable timescale to be confident in your knowledge of our cocktails, champagnes, wines, and food that we serve.
  • To attend trainings and learn from other team members on a daily basis, as well as being coached by your leader on the job.

Requirements

  • 12 years serving or hosting experience in a luxury hospitality environment.
  • Passion for and understanding of 5-star hospitality and what it takes to deliver it.
  • Quick thinking, resourceful, and able to solve problems in the moment.
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous at all times.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced and changing environment.
  • Able to work collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Willing to work in rotating shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
  • Good knowledge of spoken and written English.
  • Rights to work in the UK.

Desirable

  • Basic knowledge of a POS System.
  • Basic knowledge of Open table.
