Job Title: In Room Dining Supervisor

At The Savoy, we are seeking an experienced In-Room Dining Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Food and Beverage department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our In-Room Dining department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and lead a team of In-Room Dining servers, providing guidance and support to ensure exceptional guest service.
  • Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food and beverage orders.
  • Monitor guest feedback and reviews, taking action to improve service and address recurring issues.
  • Maintain high-quality standards in food presentation, service etiquette, and cleanliness of dining trays and amenities.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
  • Develop and implement training programs for In-Room Dining staff to enhance their product knowledge, service skills, and upselling techniques.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an In-Room Dining server or in a similar supervisory role within the hospitality industry.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
  • Strong leadership abilities with a focus on team building, motivation, and performance management.
  • Sound knowledge of food and beverage offerings, menus, and service techniques.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and make quick decisions to resolve issues effectively.
