Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead our Maternity Trauma and Loss Care Service. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical leadership, developing and implementing psychological therapy pathways, and ensuring the provision of high-quality psychological services to women under the care of the service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical leadership for the Maternity Trauma and Loss Care Service, ensuring the provision of high-quality psychological services to women under the care of the service.
- Develop and implement psychological therapy pathways between the Maternity Trauma and Loss Care Service and Perinatal Mental Health Services, third sector organisations, and other local services.
- Ensure that psychological interventions are in line with local and national guidance for the client group.
- Provide data reporting on psychological interventions and their outcomes within the service to managers, commissioners, and to NHSE at regular intervals as required.
- Lead on the provision of training to Maternity colleagues in trauma-informed approaches to maternity care.
The successful candidate will have:
- A doctoral level qualification in Clinical Psychology.
- Experience of working in a perinatal mental health service.
- Experience of developing and implementing psychological therapy pathways.
- Excellent clinical and leadership skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other professionals.
