We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Psychologist to lead our Maternity Trauma and Loss Care Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist clinical and counselling psychology services to patients under the care of the Maternal Mental Health Service.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialist psychological assessments and therapies to patients under the care of the Maternal Mental Health Service.
- Develop and sustain psychological therapy pathways between the Maternity Trauma and Loss Care Service and Perinatal Mental Health Services, third sector organizations, and other local services.
- Lead on the provision of training to maternity colleagues in trauma-informed approaches to maternity care.
- Ensure the systematic provision and governance of psychology services within the service.
- Postgraduate doctorate in Clinical Psychology as accredited by the British Psychological Society.
- Post-doctoral qualification or training in an evidence-based treatment for trauma, such as CBT for PTSD or EMDR.
- Experience of working with women in the perinatal period as a qualified clinician.
- Experience of clinical supervision of trainee Clinical Psychologists, Assistant Psychologists, and/or qualified Psychologists.
- Experience of working in a Clinical Psychology setting, including at least one year's post-qualification experience as a qualified Psychologist.
- Experience of facilitating/co-facilitating psychological therapy groups.
- Experience of teaching, training, and/or supervision.
- Experience of working with diversity, promoting inclusion and diversity, and enhancing equity and access to services.
- Experience of working in Perinatal Mental Health Services.
