Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical/Counselling Psychologist to join our team at the Islington Survivors Trauma Service, providing dedicated psychological support for individuals affected by the abuse that occurred in Islington's children's homes and associated institutions between 1960 and 1995.
Main Responsibilities:- Conduct psychological assessments and provide specialist trauma-focused psychological treatment for individuals presenting with complex PTSD or other mental health impacts of their trauma.
- Supervise assistant psychologists and offer consultation and advice to other professionals.
- Work collaboratively with the Traumatic Stress Clinic team to provide high-quality psychological support.
- Post-graduate doctoral level training in clinical psychology as accredited by the British Psychological Society, or British Psychological Society Statement of Equivalence.
- Training in supervision of trainee clinical/counselling psychologists.
- Experience and knowledge of two different evidence-based therapies for working with complex trauma.
This is a fixed-term position for 15 months, with the opportunity to work in a hybrid of clinic and home-based setting. The salary is £54,320 to £60,981 per annum, pro rata.
