Job Title: Autism Lead Practitioner

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Theatre Management Specialist to join our team at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated individual to lead clinical management, responsibility and leadership while supporting QHB Theatre sites.

As a Team Leader (Band 6), you will be responsible for providing clinical management, co-ordinating activities, troubleshooting and working collaboratively with fellow Lead Practitioners, Senior Sisters and the Clinical Theatre manager.

Your main duties will include:

  • To coordinate, organise and take responsibility for the management and organisation of the given specialities.
  • Provide specialist clinical advice to support high quality care to patients/clients and relatives/carers in collaboration with the multi-professional team.
  • Deliver clinical leadership through effective monitoring and implementation of standards and evidence-based practice.

We offer a competitive salary of approximately £53,000 - £63,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including employee assistance programme, discounted gym membership, onsite fitness classes, car schemes.
