Charity Development Officer for SCAS

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled and experienced fundraising professional to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing community engagement and fundraising strategies to support the charity's objectives. You will work closely with internal stakeholders to identify and pursue new funding opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations to enhance the charity's income streams.
Main Responsibilities:
Design and deliver engaging marketing campaigns to promote fundraising events and encourage participants to take part on behalf of SCAS Charity.
Manage and coordinate the placement of charity collection tins across the patch, recruiting and managing local community volunteers to support this activity.
Provide excellent stewardship to donors and supporters, ensuring they feel valued and recognized for their contributions.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a degree or level 6 qualification, extensive experience in fundraising, and a proven track record of success in securing funds for charities. They will also demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
Salary and Benefits: The salary for this role is estimated to be around £32,000-£42,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, we offer a range of benefits, including a generous holiday allowance, pension scheme, and opportunities for professional development.
