About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safeguarding Public Protection Specialist to join our team at Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our Safeguarding, Public Protection and Mental Capacity Team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients and service users.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the knowledge and skills of our staff in safeguarding, public protection, and mental capacity.
  • Work collaboratively with multi-agency teams to promote understanding and develop systems that work together to safeguard adults, children, and families.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on safeguarding, public protection, and mental capacity to our staff and external partners.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures related to safeguarding, public protection, and mental capacity.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience of working in mental health, learning disability, or social care services.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding, public protection, and mental capacity legislation and policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multi-agency teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
