Key Responsibilities:
  • Client Brief Analysis: Delve into client needs, analyzing and refining briefs to ensure alignment with objectives and budget constraints.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with stakeholders, effectively communicating design solutions that meet all criteria.
  • Collaboration: Work seamlessly with internal teams to ensure designs are within budget and meet technical requirements.
  • Design Communication: Clearly articulate key design aspects to secure client approvals at each project stage.
  • Progress Reporting: Efficiently communicate design progress to internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Guide junior designers, fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality outputs.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay abreast of industry design trends, directions, and legislative developments.
  • Creativity and Innovation: Champion creativity and innovation in crafting workplace solutions, demonstrating a strong knowledge of sustainable design solutions.
Requirements:
  • Industry Experience: Proven experience in commercial office fit-out within Design and Build is essential.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Confidence and experience in client-facing roles, with exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • Pressure Management: Ability to thrive under pressure, particularly during pitches and tenders.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong technical understanding with keen attention to detail.
  • Commercial Awareness: Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills.
  • Leadership Skills: Effective time management skills and the ability to lead and inspire others.
