About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Pitch Designer to join our team at Modus Workspace. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative and compelling design proposals that meet client needs and expectations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Brief Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of client briefs to ensure alignment with client objectives and expectations.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and effectively communicate with internal project teams to ensure design solutions meet all criteria.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders and internal teams to ensure designs are within budget and meet all technical requirements.
  • Design Communication: Communicate key design aspects clearly to secure client approvals at each project stage and present the commercial benefits of proposed solutions.
  • Progress Reporting: Provide regular progress updates to internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure everyone is informed and aligned.
  • Leadership and Mentorship: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality outputs.
  • Industry Awareness: Stay up-to-date with industry design trends, directions, and legislative developments to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
  • Creativity and Innovation: Champion creativity and innovation in crafting workplace solutions, demonstrating a strong knowledge and interest in sustainable design solutions and associated legislation.
Requirements
  • Industry Experience: Proven experience in commercial office fit-out within Design and Build is essential.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
  • Client-Facing Skills: Confidence and experience in client-facing roles, with exceptional presentation and communication skills.
  • Pressure Management: Ability to thrive under pressure, particularly during pitches and tenders, meeting tight deadlines with poise.
  • Technical Acumen: Strong technical understanding with keen attention to detail in all aspects of design.
  • Commercial Awareness: Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills, both written and verbal, are necessary to articulate the value of design solutions.
  • Leadership Skills: Effective time management skills and the ability to lead and inspire others towards common objectives, cultivating a culture of continuous improvement.
