Modus Workspace is seeking a highly skilled Lead Pitch Designer to join our team. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in developing innovative and compelling design proposals that meet client needs and exceed expectations.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze client briefs and refine them to ensure alignment with client objectives and budget constraints.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand their needs and effectively communicate design solutions.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure designs meet all technical requirements and are within budget.
- Communicate key design aspects clearly to secure client approvals and present the commercial benefits of proposed solutions.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, fostering their growth and ensuring high-quality outputs.
- Stay up-to-date with industry design trends, directions, and legislative developments to ensure the company remains at the forefront of innovation.
- Previous experience in commercial office fit-out within Design and Build is essential.
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
- Confidence and experience in client-facing roles, with exceptional presentation and communication skills.
- Ability to thrive under pressure, particularly during pitches and tenders, meeting tight deadlines with poise.
- Strong technical understanding with keen attention to detail in all aspects of design.
- Excellent commercial awareness and communication skills, both written and verbal, to articulate the value of design solutions.
- Effective time management skills and the ability to lead and inspire others towards common objectives, cultivating a culture of continuous improvement.
