Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Embedded Systems Specialist to join our Engineering Department at Clear Ventures. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing systems supporting R&D testing needs with a focus on automating test systems.

This is an excellent opportunity for a self-directed individual with a broad skillset who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will work closely with other engineering team members to formulate test system software specifications, write automation software using popular hardware interfaces, and develop user GUIs for test systems and demonstration platforms.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Python automation of test instruments, experience working in a self-directed manner, and proficiency with software version & defect tracking tools.

The salary range for this position is $130,000 - $170,000 per year, depending on experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop systems supporting R&D testing needs with a focus on automating test systems
  • Formulate test system software specifications
  • Write automation software using popular hardware interfaces
  • Develop user GUIs for test systems and demonstration platforms

Requirements:

  • BSc/BEng in Electronic or Electrical Engineering / Physical sciences / Mechatronics / Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in development of Python automation of test instruments
  • Ability to work in a self-directed manner in a fast-paced start-up environment
  • Experience with software version & defect tracking tools
