About the Role:

As a Software Developer for Embedded Systems at Leonardo, you will be responsible for creating high-quality and robust code, fully documenting and recording your work products, keeping them under configuration management, and providing plans and reports on progress to your supervisor.

We are looking for candidates who are interested in learning the Ada programming language, which is widely used in the Defence and Aerospace industry. We offer support for candidates in their learning and development.

The role involves delivering technical reports and documents, generating and presenting technical presentations to project stakeholders, following a project plan, identifying key elements within the project plan, and reporting clear and concise progress to the software team lead and Project and Engineering management.

About You:

  • You have good quality industry experience and working autonomously at a senior level.
  • You have experience with the full Software Development Lifecycle.
  • You are willing to embrace what will likely be a new programming language to you - Ada.
