Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Driver to join our Vehicle Solutions team at Radius. As a Driver, you will be responsible for ensuring the timely delivery and collection of vehicles to customers nationwide, while maintaining accurate vehicle checks and high standards of vehicle cleanliness.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cleaning and preparing a diverse range of vehicles, from small cars to large 7.5T trucks, for rental to our customers.
  • Conducting thorough 22-point safety and pre-rental checks to ensure vehicles are in excellent condition.
  • Valeting vehicles to the highest standards, taking pride in presenting them to our customers in excellent condition.
  • Delivering and collecting vehicles as part of a team, using your driving skills to ensure timely and efficient transportation.
  • Representing Radius as the face of our brand, providing excellent customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our customers.
  • Inspecting vehicles with customers, capturing signatures for acceptance of terms and conditions, and demonstrating key features and controls as required.
  • Reporting any vehicle defects or issues to our rental administrators for prompt attention.
  • Using our 'Traffic Light System' to manage stock levels and yard space, ensuring accurate categorization and availability.
  • Appraising vehicles for sale to motor traders and moving vehicles between branches to maintain equal stock levels.

Requirements:

  • A full driving license is essential for this role.
  • Due to our insurance policy, we are unable to accept applicants under the age of 25.
  • Experience driving commercial vehicles, such as LWB panel vans, dropside tippers, and luton boxes, is highly desirable.
  • You must be a self-motivated, punctual individual with a flexible approach to start and finish times.
  • You should be dynamic and reactive to new tasks, able to adapt to changing demands and priorities.
  • Being work-proud and understanding the value of your contribution to our business and customers is essential.
