Role: Sourcing and Procurement Manager

Deloitte - Recruitment is seeking a skilled Sourcing and Procurement Manager to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for sourcing and category execution support for specific categories of spend.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Owning a portfolio of sourcing deals, including new contracts, renewals, extensions, and orders, of varying value levels and risk levels.
  • Engaging with business stakeholders to understand demand, requirements, and support the best commercial outcome.
  • Agreeing the sourcing approach with the category lead, aligned to the category strategy.
  • Executing the process following Barclays processes and controls through to contract signature and handover to the supplier manager.
  • Additional work on category planning, such as renewals pipeline development and spend analysis, may be required to support the category manager.

Requirements:

  • Experience of end-to-end sourcing process, ideally in Financial Services or a similarly regulated environment, for categories in scope of the role.
  • A structured approach to planning and execution, ensuring key stakeholders and procurement colleagues are appraised of progress, plans, and blockers.
  • Ability to work at pace with control at the forefront of mind.
  • Comfortable operating in complex matrixed environments.
  • Self-starter, proactive, and quick to learn process, controls, and tools.
  • Good interpersonal skills to engage and influence stakeholders.
  • Good collaborative style with other Procurement and Bank teams.
