**Job Summary**

Michael Page Procurement & Supply Chain is seeking an experienced Procurement Director to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership experience and qualities, with a proven track record in sourcing and contract negotiation.

**Key Responsibilities**

• Develop a category management strategy for the procurement function, driving business growth and improvement.

• Lead a commercial and customer-focused team, ensuring effective sourcing and supply chain management.

• Negotiate contracts with suppliers, ensuring competitive pricing and high-quality products.

• Develop and implement sustainable sourcing strategies, ensuring top-tier products are sourced responsibly.

• Ensure uninterrupted supply to customers, minimizing disruptions and delays.

• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovation, including sustainability and market developments.

**Requirements**

• Strong leadership experience and qualities, with a proven track record in procurement and supply chain management.

• Experience in sourcing within a low-cost country supply base, ideally in the Far East.

• Commercially focused mindset, with strong internal and external stakeholder management skills.

• Ability to work in a matrix supply chain operation, with a focus on collaboration and communication.
