About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our team at Briggs and Forrester Group in Northampton. As a Quantity Surveyor, you will report to the Housing Director and work on specific developments in the local area.

Main Responsibilities

  • Procurement and subcontract management, including administration of contracts
  • Monthly valuations, variation accounts, and final account settlement
  • Support the delivery of the business vision, goals, and strategy

Requirements

  • At least 5 years' experience in quantity surveying
  • Demonstrable strong account management and commercial experience
  • Should ideally have worked at a similar level within a construction or residential organization

  • Sub-contract procurement and account management
  • Regular assessment of work and variation assessment
  • Valuations
  • Timely submissions in accordance with contract requirements to maximize profit and cash flow
