**Job Summary:**

Michael Page Procurement & Supply Chain is seeking an experienced Procurement Manager to join their team. The successful candidate will have strong leadership experience and qualities, with a focus on sourcing and contract negotiation with suppliers.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Develop a category management strategy for the procurement function.
  • Lead a commercial and customer-focused team, with a total of 15-20 reports.
  • Sourcing and contract negotiation with suppliers, with a focus on low-cost country suppliers, including those in the Far East.
  • Ensure uninterrupted supply to the end customer.
  • Stay up-to-date with innovation and market trends, including sustainability.

**Requirements:**

  • Strong leadership experience and qualities.
  • Experience of sourcing within a low-cost country supply base, ideally in the Far East.
  • Commercially focused mindset.
  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management skills, within a matrix supply chain operation.
